Listings you can trust, and how to spot the ones you can't.

Every job on Jobalgia is remote, shows its pay and is checked before it goes live. Here's what we check, what we never ask of you, and what to do if a listing looks wrong.

Our promise to job seekers
  • Jobalgia is free. You never pay to apply.
  • You don't need an account to browse or apply.
  • You apply on the employer's own site, not through us.
  • Every listing shows its pay range.

What we check on every listing

The same rules apply whether an employer posts with us or we find the job on their own careers site.

Real pay

No range, no post. A listing without a real pay range doesn't go live.

Really remote

We list jobs you can do from home. Roles that need set days in an office or clinic stay off the board.

A real employer

The first time an employer posts, we check their website and email domain. A Verified employer badge means we've also confirmed who they are ourselves.

Straight from the source

Many listings come from employers' own careers pages. Each one credits the employer, and Apply takes you to their site.

Checked by a person

A person reads every listing before it goes live. If something is missing, we ask the employer first.

Taken down on time

Listings come down after 30 days, and sooner if the role closes or breaks our rules.

How to spot a job scam

Real employers never charge you to get a job. If an offer asks for money, or moves fast and away from official channels, stop.

Check the job on the employer's own careers site before you share anything. If you think you've been scammed, stop replying, call your bank, and report it to your national fraud reporting service. Then tell us, so we can take the listing down.

Report a listing
  • You're asked to pay for something: training, equipment, a background check or a "starter kit".
  • You're sent a check and told to send part of the money back, or to buy equipment from a seller they choose.
  • The whole interview happens over text or a chat app, and an offer arrives within hours.
  • You're asked for bank details or ID numbers before you have a written offer.
  • The recruiter writes from a free email address instead of the company's own domain.
  • The pay is far above what similar listings on Jobalgia show.

Your data

Browsing and applying never need an account. If you sign up for job alerts, we keep your email, specialty and country to send them, and every alert email has an unsubscribe link. The privacy policy has the details, and the listing rules say what employers agree to.
